Pumelela Piko is a social entrepreneur and co-founder of grassroots organisation GQ Mothers’ Club in Gqeberha. The organisation is driven by the aim to give the mothers in the city a voice and support through information, conversations, skills development & training and outreach initiatives. I am so excited to be a Mamandla fellow.
I am looking forward to being in spaces with people who will give me insight and guidance on how we can make our club a success. I have learned so much through the Embrace Network already and how much they have exposed me to the vastness of the community of motherhood.
