Rachel Kinloch is a mom to two gorgeous little boys, Hunter and Maverick. She is a qualified remedial teacher and also holds a certificate in Drama Studies and Mind Moves. She is a qualified LifeLine counsellor and uses these skills to help support moms mentally and emotionally. Rachel is one of the coordinators for the non-profit organisation, The Angel Network, which focuses on helping underprivileged moms and children in Durban.
Rachel qualified as a postpartum doula in 2017, and worked in a baby clinic for four years, which gave rise to her passion project called BLOOM Parenting. Her services are based on improving communication and connection between children and caregivers. Rachel has developed two unique Mommy and Me and Nanny and Me class curricula, which focus on stimulating baby’s development through fun activities, while providing a time of connection between mom, nanny and baby.
She conducts monthly child minder workshops and is committed to upskilling all who are involved in raising children. She provides in-home coaching, which includes postpartum care, communication tools for families and educational material to facilitate a deep and healthy attachment for all.
