Sinetemba Bidla 

My name is Sinetemba Bidla and I am based in Dunoon, Cape Town. I am a GBV ambassador and a social auxiliary worker by profession. Currently, I work for Boost Africa Foundation as a team leader in an after-school program called Aftacool. I lead a group of remarkable women who have opened their homes to provide a safe space for children to learn after school.

I am actively involved with three distinct groups of mothers within our community. One of the groups I work with focuses on facilitating book sharing for mothers of children experiencing developmental delays. Another group I engage with is teenagers in our local high school. I feel being a Mamandla will add more to my commitment and support me in advocating for these groups and allow me to explore potential solutions to continue providing the necessary support for my community.
