My name is Florah Thobakgale, I’m 32 years and a single mother of 2. I’m from Polokwane.
I’m the owner of MphoTemo Cleaning Services and I’m also part of Unity of Mothers in my community whereby we meet twice a month as mothers. We have mother-to-mother discussions and GBV issues.
Being a Mamandla Fellow really means a lot to me because I’m very passionate about supporting mothers and advocating for motherhood issues. It also feels great to be part of a group of mothers that are supportive, form friendships and be there for each other.
