I’m Lyndall Moodley, a wife and mother of four children ages 14 and below. I am born and bred in Phoenix, Durban and I still serve in our local church as the Sunday School Lead.
By qualification I have a Bachelor of Hons in Business Information systems and marketing through UKZN and after serving as a marketing manager at Unilever SA for a number of years, I decided to venture into my own business in order to own my time and my community impact, which I will speak of shortly.
I currently serve on the Board of Trustees of Khanyisa which is a private special needs school in Umhlanga. This is a purposeful involvement as my 14-year-old has low level cerebral palsy and I am passionate about creating an inclusive future for him both socially and economically.
I am proud of my brand Hannah Grace which started in 2014. We are a local business manufacturing maternity, breastfeeding and baby clothing online. Hannah Grace was chosen as one of 12 finalists in the Threads by Standard Bank and Mercedes Benz business accelerator.
It is a true honour and privilege to be a part of the Mamandla Fellowship. I believe in holding space within the small business community for the crucial conversations that Embrace is pioneering My personal goal is to evolve into a social entrepreneur that empowers women to own their time and income. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of a movement that can spearhead change in the generations to come.
