Mandy Mpatlanyane

I am a social entrepreneur through and through.

Wherever my interest lies I have been gifted with the desire to create solutions and remedies. I am a trained medical doctor and as expressed above I moonlight in social projects.

My passions lie in empowering young people using sexual & reproductive health education as my main vehicle, advocating for good primary health care services, and more recently supporting mothers. I am a mother supporter, I started a “mammie-connect” virtual group that sees a variety of women with the purpose to promote wholistic wellness and provide a space to serve as you are served. It has revived my confidence in the power of counsel, there truly is safety in a collection of wise counsellors.

Thus, being a Mamandla fellow is such a privileged and excellent opportunity to gain more from others and create even better strategies to approach my all social projects.
