Sibuyiselwe Lubelwana

I am Sibu Angel Lubelwana, a wife to Vuyisa and mom of 3: Dumisa (16), Kwanda(14) and Chuma (13).

I’m an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist by profession and work in the Private Sector. I am directly involved with assisting women in the early `motherhood period as a member of the first-line team that tends to women. It is something I find rewarding and offers me an opportunity to be the woman’s advocate.

I use different platforms to educate women of their bodies and to help women understand what is available to them what their rights are and help empower them on an individual level so as to influence communities. I am also passionate about adolescent health and empowering girls from a young age. I have been involved with various projects and various organisations that involve women upliftment.

I have recently been awarded the internationally recognised Woman of Wonder award, in recognition of my contribution to women education and upliftment.
