Emma Arogundade

I am the mother of two children, Mokedeayo who constituted me as a mother 12 years ago, and Motirayo who blessed me 9 years ago.

I am a freelance researcher/writer, educator/facilitator (with side helpings of editing, M&E, catering and, well, anything in my skillset). My experience crosses non-profit, business and academic sectors, and my work has dealt with issues of human rights, HIV, gender, gender violence, education, development, youth, ethics, diversity and understanding how our history in South Africa impacts in the present.

I am excited about the opportunity for expansion, connection and action that Mamandla provides.

I’m passionate about birthing experiences (with stories of my own both good and bad), and how mothers are (or are not) accommodated in the workplace.
