Dear Mom,

 

You might be scared, you might feel alone. I know I did.

 

Your dreams and expectations of your ‘birth story’ have certainly changed. While it may be hard to recognize, you’re not alone. But preemies are warriors. You’ll never meet a stronger fighter then your little one, whatever challenges you face.

 

The NICU experience isn’t something I wish on anyone, but it does come to an end. Faith, love, and patience for you and your preemie.
