My name is Nomgcobo, born and raised in East London. I am currently living in the mother city, Cape Town.
I am a mom of two amazing children, a wife, an entrepreneur and a digital creator. I share my motherhood and parenting journey @authentically_gee. Amongst the many hats I wear, I work full time in banking. I run kids clothing brand @sweet_puddle, my inspiration into entrepreneurship. I was inspired by my experience working retail and years of study in Retail Business Management.
Motherhood has taught me the importance of having a community, I have come to understand and appreciate the African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child. ” My motherhood journey has been a pleasant experience because of the support I receive from family and the community at large. I navigate life being intentional in supporting the needs of mothers and children. It is such a great pleasure to be part of the Mamandla fellowship 2022. This opportunity will allow me to expand my knowledge and create relationships with amazing women.
