Yvette’s passion for mothers was fuelled by watching her mom take care of the community, and she believes that she is one of the lucky people who found her passion and her calling early in life. Since she can recall, she has always had an activist’s spirit, which is undoubtedly the reason why she became a social entrepreneur and a community organizer.
Leveraging her background in education and advocacy work, Yvette founded Tribune Connect, an NPO and public benefit organisation with the aim of advocating and creating awareness for the social stigma faced by African mothers. Tribune Connect seeks to create a positive impact on the lives of mothers so that they can enjoy the full beauty of motherhood.
