Having a preemie is not a punishment of any sort and it sure does get better. Things will turn out alright, have plenty of hope.
Cry if you must. My baby was born at 30 weeks weighing 1190g. I was pre-eclamptic and had a ruptured placenta. Baby was in the NICU and KMC for 12 weeks and was discharged weighing 1650g.
There’s hope. Hang in there. Journal or capture every single moment, they grow really fast!
