The Village Seed (TVS) is a women-led non-profit organization founded in 2023 to address the deep inequalities that persist in South Africa’s early childhood development (ECD) sector, particularly in rural and peri-urban areas. Committed to ensuring that access to quality early childhood education and reproductive health services is a must, TVS is expanding its impact with the launch of its Sexual Reproductive Health pillar in 2026. This new initiative will advocate for quality healthcare access for teens and women of reproductive age, furthering TVS’s mission to empower communities and promote equitable health and education opportunities.
